Pearson, John, of Mockerkin in Loweswater (-1649?)

Pearson, John, of Mockerkin in Loweswater (-1649?)

His wife Mabel was buried 20 May 1631 or 1632 in Loweswater.

He was alive in 1649 because his son was described as 'junior' when acting as bondsman for William Danson of Mockerkin. There had to be a 'senior' living.

However, when a 'John Pearson of Mockerkin' was mentioned later in the year in the probate inventory of John Jackson of Mockerkin, no 'senior/junior' distinction was adopted. This implies that John Pearson senior died in the meanwhile.
