Danson, William, of Mockerkin in Loweswater, died 1706

William didn't have much of a chance.  Saddled with debts from his father's estate, matters only got worse.

His widow was Isabel, probably born a Plaskett. There is no evidence for any children.

His debts at his death were around £50, against an inventory of around £7.

With no children, and lots of debts, the property was probably sold .. Isabel most likely lived from then on with friends or family. There were no more Dansons in Mockerkin.
