Youngest son of Peter Danson of Mockerkin in Loweswater.
Brother of John Danson of Mockerkin, William Danson of Mockerkin and John Danson als Pearson of Todhole.
His son John inherited the plough gear. His other son Thomas was a minor in 1668.
