Pearson of Mockerkin
There seem to be two separate lines in the seventeenth century, that may well roll back into one in a previous generation.
Pearson of Mockerkin - 1
William Pearson of Mockerkin (died 1627) was the owner of two tenements that passed to Thomas Pearson of Mockerkin (died 1636), probably his son, in 1627 and 1633. Thomas' widow, Isabel Pearson of Mockerkin, left a very detailed will in 1646.
The tenements went by inheritance to William Dickinson of Streetgate (died 1677) in Lamplugh.

Mabel, wife of John Pearson of Mockerkin, was buried in 1631 or 1632. Her husband seems to have died in 1649.
Their son John Pearson of Mockerkin (1690) cuts a strong figure. He married the widow of a neighbouring tenement, taking on a young family, and died prosperous forty years later.
A daughter Mabel married William Jackson, who was appointed administrator for John's estate. It is quite likely that the other two bondsmen were married to other daughters.
The will of Ann Fletcher of Mockerkin implies that he had three children, as above, and that he married again, with children from the second marriage.

John Pearson of Mockerkin (died 1701) had children: John (baptised 1674, buried 1675 or 1676, Joseph (baptised 1677 or 1678, buried 1681 or 1682), Aaron (baptised 1681), Mary (buried 1686 or 1687) and Ann (baptised 1688 or 1689).
Thomas Pearson of Mockerkin had a child John (baptised 1685)
Another child, name and father unreadabel, was 1690 or 1691.
Henry Pearson of Mockerkin had a son William baptised in 1702.
Daniel Pearson of Mockerkin married Ann Burnyeat in 1711.
These may be descendants, or equally come from other Pearson families around. Whatever, Pearsons from Mockerkin don't appear in later BMD entries.
