Search
Squarespace have recently made a change to its search engine, so making it more useful,
You can find it at the bottom of the Home page or HERE.
Genealogy- Cumbria - Families
The Families section is updated; but, as with the Places section, some custom search engines still need to be done.
There are accounts of local families elsewhere on the site (for instance, in Nev. Ramsden's place articles), so it's always worth using the search engines for surnames.
Cumbria - Gallery
I've added 20 more pictures to my new Tumblr gallery.
These are pictures of things Cumbrian taken from the internet. Not mine.
Genealogy - Cumbria
Some of the sharper-eyed amongst you may have noticed that 'Cumberland' has now become 'Cumbria'! I've decided to extend the site to cover the whole area, even though my personal research interests are largely only in the Copeland area.
If there are any of you out there who research other areas in Cumbria and would like to initiate a filling-up of the site with other material, I'd be very happy to discuss that through with you.
Genealogy - Cumbria - Places
The Places section is now largely updated, apart from Tom Dalzell's work on St Bees and some of the custom searches.
I've changed the URLs, so old bookmarks won't work. The changes were more than a week ago now, so the search engines should have crawled the site already to register the changes.
Slight revision - just checked and some URL changes still haven't worked their way through.
RSS Feed
I have added an RSS Feed to the top of this blog.
