from Will of Henry Bowman of Lingcroft in Lamplugh 1617:

I give to my servant Elsabeth Murrey a white two year old youngest of seven whites - a ‘Large White’ is a modern breed of pig.

Item I give to Bolton wife of Ullock a white stick under chimney

Item I give to my son William Bowman half of one ox [?] which is in Cuthbert Harrison hand of F[…?] - half the ownership of an ox [?]

F [ff] … is presumably a place or farm name, probably in the parish of Dean or of Loweswater - .not in Lamplugh, I think. Probably spelt very strangely. Any thoughts? I have none.
