WILL TRANSCRIPT
In the Name of God Amen
I David Dickinson of Rigg in the psh of Deane in the County of Cumberland yeoman beinge of good and perfect minde & memory prayed be God for the same caleing to mind the uncertainty of this life doe make this my last will & testament in manner following
first & principally
I bequeathe my soul into the hands of God who gave it me assuredly believing that I shall recieve full pardon & remission of all my sins and be saved by the precious Death & meritts of Jesus Christ my saviour, and by body I comend to the Earth to be buryed in full decent manner as to my Executors hereafter named shall hereto consented and according suche wordly Estate as th Lord hath blessed me with in this life I give & dispense of the same as followeth

I give and bequeathe to my son in law Oswald Peele five shillings
I give to every of my Grand Children one shilling a peece
I give to my godsone Joseph Dickinson two shillings
I give to my daughter Isabell Dickinson one and twenty pounds tenn shillings to be paid to her by my Executors hereafter named in fower years time after my decease that is say the sume of Five pounds yearly for three yeares, next after my decease and the remainder of the said sume of one & twenty poundes ten shillings att the end of Fower yeares after my desease
I give to my sone Daniel Dickinson all my husbandry gear
All the rest of my goods & Chattells moveable & imoveable my Debts Legasies & Funerall Expenses first paid & discharged I doe give & bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Dickinson and my daughter Ann Dickinson [jurat above] who I make joynt executors of this my last Will and testament
And
I doe hereby make and appoynte my said sone Daniel Dickinson to take and have the use and charge of my said daughter Mary Dickinson dureing her naturall life and he to have her parte or share of all things which shall fall due to her as hers to keepe & maintaine her with and what remains thereof att her death my said son Daniel to have the same. Willing and straightly enjoyneing & requesting my said son Daniel Dickinson to be loveing & kind to his said sister Mary whatsoever condition it shall please god to put my said daughter in earnestly desireing him to have more than an ordinary love of her but to use the [escrow?] & half of his indenture for her good which I hope he will doe.
