2. John CALDBECK, son of John CALDBECK and Bridget UNKNOWN, was born in c.1660 in Gosforth. He was John of High House. He married Eleanor WOODEND on 23 June 1696 in Irton.

DOE (ON THE DEMISE OF WALKER) V. HACKETT AND OTHERS.
This was an action of ejectment brought by the lessor of the plaintiff against the lessee of the defendant, and the real object was to establish the claim of WALKER, who was late a pauper in the workhouse at Andover, to be heir at law to some property in the vicinity of Whitehaven.
The last possessor of this property in right of succession was, it appeared, the Rev. Mr. COLEBANK (the family name in the course of time became corrupted from COLDBECK to COLEBANK), who died at a vicarage in Lincolnshire, in the year 1820; and the person now claiming it as heir at law was a very poor man, the son of the Rev. Mr. WALKER, formerly a curate at Deeping, in Lincolnshire. Both parties, it was alleged, were descended from one common ancestor, and the greater part of the day was occupied in the examination of documentary evidence descriptive of the family genealogy.
From these documents, which were principally from the Archdeaconry Court of Lancaster, where duplicates were deposited of original parish records, which had become injured and partly obliterated by accident at Gosforth, it appeared, that in the year 1693, a person named John COLDBECK had purchased a certain estate, called High-house Property, and in the year 1696 had married Eleanor WOODEND, and conferred upon her a marriage settlement, which partly affected this estate: in the year 1697 was born of this marriage a daughter, named Esther; and in the year 1701 a son, named John; from the latter was descended the late Rev. Mr. COLEBANK, who died in Lincolnshire, in 1820, without children. Esher married a Mr.John Walker in Gosforth on 12.2.1714 and had two sons John & David.
There is a High House in the parish of Gosforth, and in the Parish of Irton and also in Eskdale.

3. William CALDBECK, son of John CALDBECK and Bridget UNKNOWN, was born in 1660 (approx.) in Gosforth. He married Eleanor CROSTHWAITE on 11 August 1695 in Egremont. In 1750 he was a Tailor. He died on 31 January 1749/50 in Egremont.
Eleanor CROSTHWAITE died on 23 February 1733/34 in Egremont. She and William CALDBECK had the following children:

9. Isaac CALDBECK, son of John CALDBECK and Eleanor WOODEND, was born in c.1694 in Unknown. He married Elizabeth WALKER on 7 August 1715 in Waberthwaite.

10. Abraham CALDBECK, son of John CALDBECK and Eleanor WOODEND, was born in 1695 (approx.) in Gosforth ? He married Jane NICHOLSON on 18 January 1718/19 in Gosforth. He died on 3 May 1743 in Gillhouse, Gosforth. He was buried on 3 May 1743 in Gosforth.
He only left a GA behind when he died.
Jane NICHOLSON was born on 26 September 1697 in Gosforth. She died on 3 March 1740/41 in Gillhouse. She and Abraham CALDBECK had

He married Ann YOUNGHUSBAND on 17 May 1729 in Egremont. He died on 11 April 1789 in Egremont.
In his Will he mentions his wife Ann, his son John Caldbeck, hid son William Caldbeck, his daughter Ann Taylor, his grandsonds
