Son of William and Ann Fletcher of Mockerkin.

Yeoman. Quaker. He signed his will strongly.

His widow was Sarah. Three of his children were minor at his death: Jane, Elizabeth and Ann. His son Joseph, mentioned in his will and probably a teenager, was buried 28-xi-1700/1. Sarah was buried 6-iv-1702.

His probate inventory was valued at £146 13s, which is a respectable amount; and the probate bond set at £300.

The inventory makes clear that this was a working farm with both horses & cattle (valued at £35) and sheep (valued at £70).

Lancelot mentioned in his will that his brother Peter had left him a legacy of £20, and he passed this (together with some land) to his daughter Ann.
